This page is to give thanks to the kind people who have donated time, loaned materials, or otherwise helped me in my efforts to understand, document, and archive the information presented here. In semi-chronological order:
- Susan Battle (nee Thomas)
What more could a guy ask for in a wife and best friend? Intelligence, beauty, humor, kindness, and enduring patience, especially when it comes to my preoccupation with decrepit computers. Susan has let me indulge my child-like (childish?) fascination with old computers, even when it has meant giving over large parts of the house to cobweb ridden boxes of junk.
I love you, Susan!
- Bradley Slavik
Bradley Slavik had the 1220, some documents, and tapes that he had for a while but wasn't using. Rather than dumping it all, he made the effort to find someone (me!) who would take it, and simply gave it to me.
- Max Blomme
A few years back when I was primarily focused on the Wang 2200T, Max loaned me a large collection of schematics. I copied all of them at the time, even though not all were Wang 2200 related. Among the group were a number of Wang 1200 schematics, the ones that appear on this website.
- Teri and Bart Hisai
... for holding onto the 1220 until I could arrange shipping. There are myriad other more important reasons why I am indebted to my sister and my brother in law as well!
- Mike Bahia
Mike has been a great source of Wang 2200 materials, as he is the last man standing from the Wang 2200 department. Sometimes he digs up docs which predate the 2200, and this time it was a schematic set for the Wang 1200.
