Sadly, there are few links to substantive material on the Wang 1200 or its successors, only brief mentions of various computer history timelines.
If you know of any links please forward them and I'll post them here.
- Wang 1200 emulation
Doug Miller has done a knock-out job in writing this emulator for the Wang 1200 word processor. It uses the microcode captured from a real 1220. Doug has also written emulations for a couple other related machines, the Wang 600 calculator and the Wang 700 calculator. In addition to the emulators, Doug presents a lot of architectural detail about these machine.

Wang 700 microarchitecture
Rick Bensene always does fantastic work, and his reverse engineering of the Wang 700 calculator microarchitecture is no exception. It is a relevant link because the Wang 1200 microarchitecture is based on the 700 calculator architecture.
- Harold Koplow
Harold Koplow was a legendary engineer at Wang, and was involved in designing and defining some of their most successful products. In addition to designing the microcode for the Wang 700 calculator and the Wang 1200 word processor, he and Dave Moros defined the Wang WPS system.
